Rural Resources Farm & Food Training Program
Teens from Rural Resources will be at the market Come out and support this great group of kids, and learn more about Rural Resources.
"THE" Teens from Rural Resources will be at the market from time to time this summer, talking worm composting, and the great programs they have at Rural Resources for Kids. Watch for time and dates on our web site and face book page. Bring your kids and find out more about the great program's they have available.
"Silent Farmers", our newest group this year involved in the Farm and Food Teen Training Program at Rural Resources, will be out to great all the ghouls at the Greeneville Farmers Market Halloween Bash Oct. 26th, 2013. To help everyone prepare for indoor planting during the late fall and early spring, the teens would love to show and share with you some container gardening ideas, as well as how to implement your potting soil to make your plants good and happy. Show up at the top of each scary hour during market, starting at 9 a.m. to 1 pm. to see our gardens and let us share with you. Also, other teens involved in the program will be selling caramel apples for $1.00 to raise money for the program. Come and cover your apple in caramel and then top with your favorite toppings.
