What Are Half Runner Beans?
Half runner beans have a thinner shaft than regular green beans. Half runner beans are a type of green bean that is thinner than most other green beans but are still packed with flavor. These beans can be eaten fresh, dried, frozen or canned. The bean plants are a cross between a pole bean and bush bean plant. Half runners have been known to produce a hearty crop early in the growing season.
